How to remove line breaks
Paste plain text, choose whether to keep paragraphs, and select Remove line breaks. Copy the result below. If you edit the input or change the option, run the tool again.
What changes?
Keep paragraphs: A single line break between text lines becomes one space. Spaces and tabs immediately beside that break are removed to avoid duplicate spaces. Two or more breaks, including whitespace-only lines, become one blank line. Spacing before the paragraph separator is removed; indentation at the start of the next paragraph stays.
Remove all: Line-ending characters are deleted without replacement. Words can join together: hello↵world becomes helloworld. Existing spaces and tabs remain.
Formats and limits
Windows (CRLF), Unix (LF) and standalone CR endings are recognized. Paragraph mode writes LF endings. Letters, emoji and other Unicode characters are preserved. Rich formatting from Word or PDF is not retained in plain text. PDF line wrapping can split sentences; review headings, tables and intentional line breaks after conversion. The limit is 100,000 JavaScript string units, so some emoji count as two toward the limit.
